Fur, Feathers, Rehabilitation is about human effects on wildlife, because it is a cause worth fighting for.

Growing up in a beach town has helped me understand how humans are affecting wildlife and the town's grounds. When walking along the shore it shows how much plastic we use in day-to-day life, from a chip wrapper from lunch to the utensils given out when you get takeaway food. In my hometown, actions have been taken to help reduce the amount of plastic handed out to customers. Such as, restaurants now providing paper straws to customers and stores are providing paper bags instead of plastic ones. It is a start towards reducing waste but has not been fully implemented in all stores, or around the world.

This project is to help raise awareness for animals.

Those who have had the unfortunate accident of hitting a deer might have felt bad for the deer but might not have given it any more thought. Yet there are people and companies, like Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge who do care. Fur, Feathers, Rehabilitation looks into how Cedar Run helps animals and their efforts in raising awareness about wildlife.
